STEP honoreesThe University of Houston-Clear Lake's College of Education celebrated its Success Through Education Programs’ (STEP) fall semester with a luncheon recognizing its scholarship recipients. STEP is a collaborative effort between UH-Clear Lake, five area school districts, and five community colleges designed to create opportunities for students to explore teaching as a profession and to prepare them to become certified teachers.

The fall event gave STEP students an opportunity to mingle, meet faculty and staff, and receive tips for academic success. The program included a dynamic and inspirational presentation delivered by Ron Klinger, chief engagement officer of Transitional Motivations, which encouraged the future educators to let their “Super Self” shine through in their classrooms.
