The Indian Student Association at University of Houston-Clear Lake hosted a celebration of Diwali, or the festival of lights, on October 22. Diwali is India’s most highly anticipated annual festival, spiritually signifying the victory of light over darkness. Community members, students, faculty and staff joined the festivities, which included music, dance performances, and colorful decorations.
