Outstanding future educators honored with Wilson scholarship

University of Houston-Clear Lake recognized 2018 Dr. Patricia Potter Wilson College of Education Outstanding Student Scholarship recipients with plaques. Alvin Independent School District clinical teacher intern Jennifer Lehnert and Donna Kocian, who is pursuing her master’s in library science, were selected based on academic performance and leadership capabilities. The endowment that created the awards was established 18 years ago by UHCL Distinguished Alumna and School of Education Associate Professor Emerita Patricia Potter Wilson and her husband Wendell Wilson, a retired captain for Delta Airlines.
