Single tickets are on sale for University of Houston-Clear Lake Bayou Theater’s 2019-2020 season with 25 performances including classical, Latino, blues, bluegrass, zydeco and rock concerts as well as Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.”
“Most shows have reserved seating, so this is your opportunity to get your tickets early and get the seats you’d like,” said Director of Theater and Cultural Arts Alex Malone.
Seniors (age 55 and over) can buy a ticket for $15 for any show. UH-Clear Lake faculty, staff, alumni and retirees can purchase a ticket for $12, and any student from any college or university may purchase a ticket for $10 with a student ID.
“Subscription packages are still available and that’s the cheapest way to get tickets,” Malone said.
This season’s performers include five-time Grammy-winning a cappella artists Ladysmith Black Mambazo, premiere Irish folk band Goitse, Del Castillo, Western singer-songwriter Michael Martin Murphey and a free concert by the U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors.
