Mr. Rogers movie kicks off UHCL film series

Join us for an intimate look at everyone’s favorite neighbor, Mister Fred Rogers. “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” presented as the first film in UH-Clear Lake’s 2018-19 Film and Speaker Series, will be shown Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Student Services and Classroom Building Lecture Hall.

The movie is the portrait of a man whom we think we all know, taking us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and imagination.

Speakers after the movie are Beth Hentges and Christine Walthers, both professors in UHCL’s Department of Psychology. Admission is free with UHCL student ID, all others $4. Parking is free in the Visitor Lot.
