In July, University of Houston-Clear Lake announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar to expand educational services and training of diplomats through a new Diplomacy Institute (DI). Last week, U.S. officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding designating 2021 as the U.S.-Qatar Year of Culture.
