Change is the only constant in life--Jonathan and Blakley Fletcher can attest to that. Both graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2000 with bachelor’s degrees in fields that they thought would launch their careers.

Traveling internationally can enhance more than a college student’s resume. For Edgar Tijerina, who is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from University of Houston-Clear Lake, taking a course called Global Healthcare and traveling to Harlaxton College in Grantham, England will impact him far beyond what he lists on his resume.

Six healthcare administration students, as well as 12 students in the Anthropology program took a two-week trip to Nairobi, Kenya last month. The healthcare group visited four area hospitals along with Ayadi and her faculty co-lead, Assistant Professor of Critical Social Psychology Enciso Dominguez.
