Acclaimed Houston artist Charles Washington, whose retrospective exhibition is currently featured in University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Art Gallery, will give an “artist’s talk” both virtually and in-person Thursday, March 11 at 6 p.m. in the Bayou Theater and a public art workshop on Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m., at the Arbor North Building lawn.

University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Common Reader Program is continuing the exploration of social and racial inequity with a free virtual screening and discussion of the 2019 film "Just Mercy" on Saturday, February 6 from 6-9:30 p.m. via Zoom. The film follows the true story of a man wrongfully incarcerated and the efforts to free him.
Austin's 'First Lady of Jazz' to perform in person at Bayou Theater
