During Alvin Community College’s 70th anniversary Community Breakfast, ACC President Christal Albrecht (right) presented one of the Community Partner Awards to University of Houston-Clear Lake President Ira K. Blake. The award highlights the many ways ACC and UH-Clear Lake work together to translate student educational needs into student success.

Since 2017, UHCL Pearland has hosted ACC core classes, which are transferrable to UHCL.

“Success at ACC continues to translate into success at the University of Houston-Clear Lake,” Albrecht said in the news story highlighting the event.
