UHCL’s President Blake meets AASCU leader

University of Houston-Clear Lake President Ira K. Blake (center) is pictured with Vice President of Membership Dr. Toyia Younger (right) and President Mildred Garcia (left) of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) in a February visit to the Clear Lake campus. Garcia assumed her presidency in January. As a member of AASCU, UH-Clear Lake receives support at the national level on key issues and policies affecting higher education as well as leadership support and professional development opportunities. UHCL is among 400 public colleges and universities in AASCU.
