Professors Mike McMullen and Dawit Woldu visit United States International University in Nairobi to discuss partnerships and study abroad opportunities.

Part of the goal of our time at United States International University is to assess the feasibility of taking students on short-term study abroad trips to Kenya. This would include spending time at USIU and interacting with students and faculty there. But it would also include seeing some of the social and cultural sites of Nairobi and beyond. Over the weekend, we visited the Bonas of Kenya Cultural Center, which is an organization that showcases the traditional music and dance of various tribal groups in Kenya. We also toured the Nairobi National Park south of Nairobi, and saw giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and other animals. Both of these sites will prove to be important educational venues for future study abroad trips. Learn more about UHCL's partnership with United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya.
