University of Houston-Clear Lake officials, as well as representatives from Austin
Commercial Project and PBK Architects, Inc. gather at a topping out ceremony for the
Health Sciences Classroom Building on UHCL Pearland Campus, celebrating the completion
of the structural phase of the project. The new $24 million, 69,500-square-foot building,
scheduled to open in spring 2019, will allow for the expansion of the campus’ nursing
and other healthcare programs.
As part of the tradition, attendees autographed a steel beam used on the project.
