Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members can all contribute to student success at the University of Houston-Clear Lake by helping pick the next topic for the 2022 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
On Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m., the topics that have been submitted will be presented and discussed in a virtual town hall. Send your questions or comments to QEP@uhcl.edu prior to the town hall, then vote for your selection between Oct. 23 and Nov. 1.
The results from the voting will be presented to UHCL President Ira K. Blake as recommendations. The final decision on the chosen topic will be announced shortly thereafter to the campus community.
“From a total of 22 topic suggestions from the campus community, the topic selection committee selected three for development into full proposals,” said Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Kathryn Matthew. "The three topics fulfill the goal of the QEP to enhance the quality of higher education and to the proposition that student learning is at the heart of the mission of all institutions of higher learning."
The proposed topics are:
“In spring 2021, the QEP implementation committee will develop plans for deploying the QEP,” said Executive Director of Planning and Assessments Pat Cuchens.
