UHCL Pearland Campus offers RN-BSN information sessions
March 5, 2018 | UHCL Staff
University of Houston-Clear Lake Pearland Campus is offering monthly information sessions
for those interested in advancing their career by obtaining an RN-to-BSN degree.
“This is an opportunity for interested registered nurses to learn more about completing
their degree at the UH-Clear Lake Pearland Campus,” said Coordinator of Enrollment
Management Erica Chance. “We are also offering prospective students the chance to
have a ‘mock’ classroom experience. They can attend a class in session, talk to students
and faculty to get a better idea of the coursework for the program. We hope it gives
students a different perspective about our nursing program.”
Assistant Professor of Nursing and Program Director Karen Alexander said that when
prospective students can sit in on a class, they’ll get a real feel for the way face-to-face
classes are delivered. “This is also a great way for prospective students to engage
directly with current students find out what they think about the program,” she said.
Students are asked to RSVP for a session, although walk-ins are welcome. Those who
apply after attending the information session will have their $45 application fee
waived. For all information regarding RN-to-BSN information sessions, visit www.uhcl.edu/pearland/enrollment-services/rn-bsn-info-session.
