UHCL president to present State of the University Address

University of Houston-Clear Lake President Ira K. Blake will deliver her vision for the university’s future during the State of the University address Tuesday, Oct. 8, 3-5 p.m., in the university’s Bayou Theater, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, 77058.
This special presentation will also highlight the university’s growth in the past fiscal year – notably new buildings at both UH-Clear Lake and UHCL Pearland – as well as new additions to the university leadership, awards and honors, and the strength of alumni who continue to better the community through their work and commitment. The address is one of several events that highlights the university’s 45th anniversary.
