UHCL student dignitaries greet grads at commencement

delivered the ceremony’s invocation and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology;
Sandy Samaan, graduate of Texas’ Joint Admission Medical Program, who delivered the
benediction and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology; and Neelesh C. Mutyala,
student regent from the University of Houston System Board of Regents, who delivered
commencement greetings on behalf of UH System. Nearly 450 students graduated from
the College of Education and College of Science and Engineering at the noon event.
At 5 p.m., 550 students graduated from the College of Business and the College of
Human Sciences and Humanities.
