Joan Pedro appointed College of Education dean

University of Houston-Clear Lake has appointed College of Education Professor of Curriculum and Instruction Joan Pedro as dean of the college. Pedro has been serving as interim dean since March 2019. While serving as interim dean, Pedro created the college’s first Board of Advisors to assist in generating support for the college’s initiatives.

Student interning has been full of change for Skye Jones, who is receiving her Bachelor of Science in Geography with 7-12 Social Studies Certification from University of Houston-Clear Lake this May. While interning at Dawson High School in Pearland Independent School district, she changed teacher mentors and had to transition to online teaching.

Art School for Children transitions to online format at UHCL
