Explore growing UHCL campus at Open House March 23

Discover new educational opportunities during University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Open House Saturday, March 23, 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Whether you’re ready beginning your college search, or ready to advance your career, you can meet with faculty and staff, tour the campus, get financial aid information, receive on-the-spot admissions and more at the event. 

Check-in is 10:30 a.m. followed by several activities to choose from:

  • 10:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.: On-the-spot admissions drop-off. Be sure to bring your official transcripts and pertinent test scores. Not all academic programs are eligible. For details, visit www.uhcl.edu/admissions/visit/.
  • 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.:  Resource Fair
  • 10:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Apply for admission
  • 11 a.m.: campus tour
  • 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.: MBA Mixer
  • 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: University Forest Apartment tour

From 11:35 a.m. – noon, choose one of these sessions to learn more about:

  • admissions deadlines and requirements.
  • what it takes to become a graduate student at UH-Clear Lake.
  • financial aid and scholarships.

At noon, tour the campus, including the new Recreation and Wellness Center, or explore labs with professors in the new STEM and Classroom Building. From 12:30 – 2 p.m., pick up your on-the-spot admissions decision. Then from 12:35 – 1 p.m., choose one of these sessions to learn more about:

  • Hunter Hall, UHCL's new residence hall, set to open fall 2019.
  • student organizations and campus activities.
  • on-campus health and wellness services.

From 1:05 – 1:30 p.m., choose between these sessions to learn about:

  • orientation and new student programs.
  • financial aid and scholarships.
  • current job trends and what careers you can pursue with a UHCL degree.
  • student organizations and campus activities.
  • First-Generation Scholars Program. 

Wrap up the day with a campus tour at 1:30 p.m., before dropping off evaluations about your experience at 2 p.m.
