University of Houston-Clear Lake’s December 2019 commencement took place at noon and at 5 p.m. on Dec. 15 at NRG Arena in Houston. Candidates for graduation participated by leading the Pledge of Allegiance and invocation, giving the student address, inducting students into UH-Clear Lake’s Alumni Association, and giving the benediction.
NASA Johnson Space Center, UHCL begin implementing Space Act Agreement partnership

University of Houston-Clear Lake’s history of collaboration with NASA Johnson Space Center began on the day its doors opened in 1974, establishing a permanent institution of higher education accessible to JSC staff, scientists and engineers. On Oct. 1, the two entities signed a new Space Act Agreement and Annex, confirming and expanding their partnership for the benefit of the community.
Eight students receive doctorates at UHCL fall 2019 commencement

Over 1270 University of Houston-Clear Lake students crossed the stage at two commencement ceremonies held on Dec. 15 at NRG Arena in Houston. Eight students were present to receive their doctorates from UH-Clear Lake’s Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership program.
