Registration is underway for educators from across the Houston-Galveston and surrounding areas to attend the 2018 Greater Houston Area STEM Conference on Saturday, March 3, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. The event is being co-sponsored by UH-Clear Lake and University of Texas Medical Branch. Titled, “New Horizons and Innovations in STEM,” the conference will feature concurrent presentations, STEM-related exhibitors, door prizes, and tours of current state-of-the-art research facilities. Keynote speaker is Kenn Heydrick, a 35-year educator with a rich STEM background including serving as the Director of Science Curriculum at the Texas Education Agency.
